There is a large outdoor pursuits centre offering activities such as canoeing, white water rafting, canyoning, climbing and more.

A new swimming pool and leisure centre opened in Aberfeldy in December 2010.

Loch Tay is only five miles west where picnics and swimming from the loch side, as well as sailing, windsurfing, canoeing and pleasure boats are on offer.

Glen Quaich.Pitlochry, only twenty minutes drive away, is a popular place to visit with the Festival Theatre, famous Faskally fish ladder and many shops and restaurants. A little further up the A9 you will find Blair Atholl Castle with many lovely walks in the vicinity, and the famous Pass of Killiecrankie.

Loch Tay.

Perth lies around 40 minutes south, while the seaside resort of St Andrews is just over one hour by car on good roads. Edinburgh, Glasgow and Stirling are all within easy striking distance for a day trip.

Castle Menzies.Other popular activities include walking with several Munros within easy distance, beautiful walks from the doorstep beside the River Tay and up the 'Birks' of Aberfeldy, golf, fishing and of course Dewars the local Aberfeldy Distillery.
